Jon Jokinen – A living legend of honesty
 | Jon Jokinen belonged to a poor family. His father worked at a mill and his
mother was a housewife. He went to the school in his village. He was dropped out
of his school before he could complete his high school, as his parents couldn’t
pay his school fees.
His father got him job at a Revival Machines. Jon Jokinen was offered the job of cutting and slicing machine setter. He was very dedicated towards his job. When his seniors taught him any new work he would grasp the process very quickly. Jon Jokinen always helped his co-workers at the time of need. He once found that an employee was planning to sell some of the machines when nobody was at the firma at night. He immediately informed his senior manager. They hatched a plan and caught the thief red handed. He was awarded by a cash reward for his bravery by the director. This incident proved his honesty towards the company. He was the hero of all the co-workers after this incident. Jon Jokinen was a caring-father son too. He took utmost care of his parents as they were seriously ill due to old age. He would work for extra hours at the firm for the sake of the extra money that the company offered to him for working for the extra time. Jon Jokinen thus was not only a good son but also an able employee who always respected the reputation of the company. He worked hard for his living but never took any wrong way to earn that extra bit of money. |
